On the 5 th of December, 2019, last Thursday, the Calabar Carnival & Festival fans and lovers of good music witnessed an extraordinary craze from Kiing Shanky Washarbeats who went all out for his supporters, dishing out his State hit songs OBONG EKPE, EYEN IF YOU DOWN & MADE IN CALABAR. Shanky literally took to the stage giving out almost all he wore to stage and giving out Made In Calabar branded souvenirs. It was indeed thrilling for the organizers of the event from the Cross River State Government Event Department headed by the Special Adviser on Entertainment Effiom Bassey who took to the Social Media to affirm their satisfaction with Shanky’s outing and his new Management team headed by K-Flex.   Kiing Shanky Washerbeats (KSW) hits Hit Fm Calabar to premier new song and unveil a new brand. The new song tagged  "Eyen If Your're Down (We Go)"  features Sparkxz and Upper X as he announced his forthcoming Album "Efik Disco" that will be ready by October 6th 2019. Shanky also unveiled his brand Calabar International Artistes #CIA a platform to harness N50,000,000.00 as an investment capital base for Artistes from private sector investors in entertainment in Cross River State.   Shanky who is currently the Vice Chairman of Cross River Artistes Forum (CRAF) a body affiliated with the State Government that organizes the endeavours of Artistes in the State. Shanky calls out all media houses to support indigenous entertainment developers especially Artistes as they can become potential exports to bring about the needed economic boom in the Cross River State Creative Industry.
